Dear Middle School Community,
The month of December has “unwrapped” a variety of learning opportunities for our students. From Christmas concerts, field trips, and STUCO assemblies to sweet holiday treats, Christmas hats and opportunities to support causes like the Giving Tree, signs of Christmas can be seen all over the Concordia campus.
Just like Christmas presents are “wrapped” in a variety of colors and ribbons, our learning opportunities come in so many different shapes and forms as well. I have seen it inside our classrooms, at our Christmas Bazaar, on the gym court and soccer pitch at games and at the MS STUCO assembly. I am so proud of our Middle School students for their personal and academic growth this first semester. I am proud of our teachers who have guided them in this growth. I am proud of the whole Middle School community.
My Christmas wish for our community is that we let the light of Christmas RENEW our faith and hope. From invaluable time with your closest friends and family in Shanghai, phone calls with family around the world, or just moments of silence and peace, may the blessings of this season fill our cups with love and the willingness to share the light of His love with others.
