With the arrival of Mr. Daniel Hwang, the new Drama teacher, things have been very active this semester. Students have a new drama space to learn and grow, they’ve had many teachers and staff visit their classroom to watch them rehearse their performances. The end of the semester was abuzz with over 70 students auditioning for the upcoming Spring semester musical, “Seussical.”
Last week, the Grade 8 Drama class had a chance to see Legally Blonde, the High School Musical at SAS Pudong!
They were able to witness what they've been learning in class in a performance on stage and be inspired to bring the same energy and passion to their performances in class!
Parents of all Drama students this semester were invited to school to see their child perform everything they've been working on in class this semester! It was a wonderful time, and both students and parents were so proud to see and perform their work!
The Spring semester MS Musical, “Seussical” will be held from Thursday, June 6th, to Saturday, June 8th, in the Rittmann Theater. Parents will be sent details in May. Don’t forget to Save the Date!
